53 local public authorities, from 22 counties, requested in 2021 funds for the elaboration of technical documentation necessary for the realization of priority community investments
The total budget of the 53 projects submitted under the call Access to financing – 2021 is over 1.6 million euros, while the amount available through the call is 595,000 euros. We remind you that the call provides funding for the development of technical documentation necessary for the construction, expansion, rehabilitation or modernization of social infrastructure, water and sewerage, roads, bridges and social housing.
Most of the submitted projects come from Sibiu and Mureș counties (6 each). It is followed by the counties of Suceava (5), Alba (4), Arad, Bacău, Brașov (3), Bihor, Călărași, Covasna, Dolj, Ilfov, Hunedoara, Timiș, Vrancea (2), Argeș, Cluj, Ialomița, Iași, Mehedinți, Sălaj and Tulcea (1).
All 53 projects have already entered the stage of formal verification, which would be completed between July and August 2021.
Launched by the Romanian Social Development Fund in April 2021, the call “Access to financing – 2021” is financed by the EEA Grants 2014-2021 and is part of a grant scheme through which in 2019 and 2020 FRDS financed another 17 similar projects, totaling approx. 400,000 euros. The grants provided ensured the development of technical documentation necessary to start local investments aimed at improving road infrastructure, modernization and construction of bridges, construction and rehabilitation of schools and kindergartens, and modernization of local medical infrastructure.
