TechSoup Romania Programme, a digital resource for non-governmental organizations in Romania

The non-governmental organizations carrying out projects under the Local Development Programme can have access to important digital and technology resources, by accessing the TechSoup Romania Programme. This programme is a global non-profit initiative to increase the capacity of NGOs in Romania, supporting their mission by providing services and software products and training in how to use the technology.

Over 3,500 non-profit organizations in Romania are already part of TechSoup Romania Programme, with free access or with significant discounts to:

  • software products of Windows operating systems type, Office productivity suites: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe documents and images editing, Bitdefender and Symantec security solutions, etc.
  • ZOOM, Box and Asana type collaborative work solutions
  • Google Suite and Microsoft Office 365 professional emails
  • free trainings and learning resources for NGOs
  • Google Adgrants promotion and fundraising tools, through Google for Nonprofit și Airbnb Social Impact Experiences.

We mention that the non-governmental organizations implementing projects under the Local Development Programme do not have any obligation to register in the TechSoup Romania Programme. In case they wish to use the digital services or products provided through the TechSoup Romania Programme in the projects financed under the Local Development Programme, this will be done in compliance with the EEA and Norway regulations and the national legislation in force.
